Our large extended family from the UK chose to stay at both of Caroline’s beautiful houses, firstly the Lagoon House at Langebaan, and then a slightly longer stay at the Beach House at Britannia Bay.
We loved both houses equally, the style and comfort, KB and Chris’s help, the amazing coffee machines! But most of all the views … after grey and rainy London the endless blue skies, the yellow sun, the different shades of blues in the bay, the golden beach at Britannia, the sunsets that never failed to wow … how could we not love it all? And now we are back in grey and rainy UK, with hundreds of photos and great memories, and hopes that we will return for another holiday one of these days.

Caroline’s home is spectacular! It is the perfect combination of relaxed comfort mixed with stylish interiors. The position of the home is the best you could get in Langebaan with her home overlooking the lagoon and uninterrupted views. Is it GLORIOUS! Everything is thought through with care and consideration, and it is extremely well appointed (amazing coffee machine, two dishwashers, high quality cutlery and cooking trays etc) It is worth every cent for the quality you get. KB looked after us so well - he had a fire lit when we arrived, had done a beautiful turn down service in the bedrooms with the electric blankets on. It felt like 5 star luxury with a personal attentive touch. They also have bikes, SUPs, a kayak etc that one may use, although we didn’t stay long enough to make use of them (we’ll leave that for next time). It is by far the nicest holiday home I have stayed in and the photos don’t even do it justice. We will certainly be back many times. Thank you to Caroline and KB

From the moment we booked to stay at Caroline’s amazing home the service was impeccable. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into her home by KB, the house boy. He gave us a tour of the space and saw to all our needs throughout our stay. The location and uninterrupted sea and lagoon views are simply breathtaking and the house is equipped with all you could ask for and more. We were a family of 7 and thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Lagoon House. The pictures online really don’t do justice to the space, the attention to detail is second to none. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cut our trip short and Caroline was very understanding, accommodating and empathetic. We will surely be back!

The photos don't do this place justice. It is bigger than we expected and it is very well equipped with all the necessary kitchen items including a blender for smoothies. The house is like a 5 star hotel with a very willing house man KB who is top notch. The back courtyard is also very well enclosed for evening braais with a view straight through the house to the lagoon. The place is perfect for families and comes with table tennis and kayaks. There are plenty of towels for the pool. We made good use of the fireplace in the lounge which together with stunning sunsets makes this a place to cherish. Caroline as a host was quick with responses and accommodating. Our only regret is not booking it for our December break early enough and it's now taken.

We really loved staying in your house in Langebaan.
The house was big, clean, nice views, lots of beach toys to play with and of course the ambiance of the house was perfectly located for nice walks.
The house felt safe and only a 5 min. Drive to the beaches and shops.

I can’t thank you enough for creating the most beautiful home for us to have our holiday in. We celebrated our anniversary, my Hubby’s birthday and a lost a tooth (so the tooth fairy popped in too). It felt like we were on a Greek island, it was so relaxing. You have thought of everything, from the most delicious coffee to having dinner by candlelight. The boys were like mice every afternoon, lounging on the comfy couches reading your childhood books. KB is the sweetest young man and truly made our stay special.

Thank you for letting us stay at the Lagoon house, we absolutely love the setting and the views.
The house had all we needed an more.
Kaybee is a real gem, always smiling and on hand if you need any information, he is very pleasant and unobtrusive.
We loved that you could have a fire burning in the living room and in the TV room for the kids, it was a very cold winters weekend but the fires were burning and kept us warm and cosy.
The rooms are warm and cosy, and we really appreciated the under floor heating in the bathrooms.

thank you we had an awesome time - made delicious food, walked all the way along the lagoon and back the other way, bicycled to the little market, caught fish, looked for fish, ate the fish, thanks to KB for making huge fires in the evening and lighting all the candles, it was really special and we look forward to spending a summer weekend too - to catch up on our fishing techniques … and to laze around the pool and just immerse ourselves into the stunning blue…blue views…

we loved our stay at the beach house, the ambiance of the house perfectly located on the beach front connecting with the dolphins who were playing so close to shore.
Our children could run around and because of the privacy we felt at peace and ease that they were safe.
